About the Program

Join us for an informative presentation on the topic of immigration. Reduce the uncertainty of the immigration process by learning what is expected of you. Local immigration attorney Marie Wood will discuss family-based immigration, common mistakes, new immigration executive orders and your rights as an immigrant. This program is part of Riverside County Law Library's celebration of National Pro Bono Week.

About the Speaker

Marie Wood practices in all areas of immigration law, business and real estate litigation, and transactional law. She is licensed to practice law in the state of California, and throughout the United States in federal immigration matters. Her experience includes representation of individual and businesses before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and individual and lending institutions in civil litigation from inception of a case to post-judgment matters.

Marie is the 2017 President of the Southwest Riverside County Bar Association, and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Riverside County Bar Association, and the North County Bar Association. She is also an adjunct professor at Palomar College, business and Legal Studies Programs, and is a guest speaker at California State University, San Marcos.
