The following resources are available to help select or find a lawyer.

When selecting a lawyer, you can check the status of their license using the California State Bar’s Attorney search. You can search by name or California State Bar number, this will also show if the lawyer has been publicly disciplined by the bar. You may also view this handout before hiring an attorney.
