Each submission will be reviewed by an editor who will analyze each submission in three areas: Overall Fit, Substance, and Technical Quality.
- Overall Fit - Does the Zine page align with the overall mission of the RCLL Teen Legal Zine and the issue’s theme? Whether a scholarly essay or a mini comic, we will be looking for submissions that add different perspectives on each issue's discussion topic.
- Substance – Is the zine page well developed with thought-out arguments and insights to share with the readers? If research is involved, is it used appropriately to help advance the author’s ideas?
- Technical Quality and style – Are the submissions organized and structured with care? Does it follow the submission guidelines and use appropriate format? If citations are used, are they included where appropriate?
