Where Did Indio Go?! Q&A For Our New Palm Springs Branch

Where did the Indio Branch go?

The Indio Branch of RCLL closed on September 8, 2025. We are currently working hard to put the finishing touches on our new location inside the Palm Springs Courthouse at 3255 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs CA 92262.  We hope to see you again in a few weeks.

Why did you close the Indio location?

Our desert location is hosted by the county of Riverside. Sometimes they need to rearrange their tenants to serve all their needs. While we loved our location and the city of Indio, we are hopeful that being inside the courthouse that handles most pro-se cases and sharing a building with the Court’s self-help center will be convenient for our Coachella Valley patrons.

What is the new place like?

The Palm Springs location is a 3141 sq. feet space that was designed and remodeled for our law library.  We will continue to be open Monday through Friday from 9 to 4 except for public holidays. Enter the courthouse through the main entrance and you will find us down the hall and to the left!

Will I still be able to call, email, or submit reference request forms?

Yes! Our phone number remains the same and calls are currently being answered by staff in Riverside. We have a new email address: [email protected]. However, emails sent to our old address are being forwarded to the new one. Palm Springs and Riverside staff are working together to handle any reference requests that come in during our transition.

Will the Palm Springs location have what I need?

Hopefully! All of our currently updated books will be in the new location. We will still have WI-FI and six public computers available to access our legal databases and the Lexis Digital Library.

Is parking still free?

The courthouse has a parking lot with free public parking. Please make sure your spot does not have a sign reading “permit parking only.”

Can I rent a conference room there?

We will have two conference rooms available to rent. One will hold 8 people for larger meetings and depositions. The other will hold four people for virtual and client meetings.

Have another question?

No problem! Call or send us an email.
